Once you hit the floor, you will focus on finding carriers across the nation to transport our customers’ shipments! Through negotiation and collaboration, you will enable Arrive to service our customers and their freight in the most cost-effective way possible. If you work hard and hit performance goals during your first 60 days in this position, your role will evolve into a full-time opportunity in sales or operations at Arrive Logistics! What You'll Do - Learn the business in our one-week training program, designed to get you ramped quickly & effectively. - Hustle! We want reliable team members who will show up on time and get the job done. - Get on the phone! This is a high-volume role, so be prepared for lots of IB/OB calls from/to carriers across the country. - Secure capacity by selling shipments over the phone to carriers who meet our strict requirements. - Problem-solve through issues that occur during transit. - Communicate internally with our customer sales team & keep them updated on the status of their customers’ shipments. You are their point of contact for all tracking updates. - Guarantee that the quality of calls, updates, emails, and overall information is aligned with our parameters. - Coordinating internally with all parties involved in cross-border operations, including but not limited to Mexico Account Executives, Border Operations Account Executives and Carrier Reps. - Problem solve for cross - border carrier operations, trailers stuck at the border, communicate update and problem solve, set up 1st shift for success. - Assist in tracking and updating load milestones including Border Operations Card. - Be the Global point of contact for all after hours (2nd shift) carrier escalations & carrier cross border operations problem solving. - Make sure to remain up to date with all of our SOPs (Standard Operational Procedure). - Demonstrate ability to identify and resolve performance issues. - Execute problem solving and innovative thinking to improve and streamline processes. - Exemplify a level of assertiveness to identify issues and solve them. - Foster existing relationships with our carrier partners to allow us better access to real-time updates. - Gain knowledge of the transportation industry to better serve our customers, carriers, and drivers. - Work Schedule Mon-Fri 1400-2000 hrs MX Central Time Qualifications - 1+ years of experience in the logistics industry. - A high school diploma or equivalent. - Highly level of Accountability - Proven work-ethic in a high volume setting. - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. - Exceptional communication skills (both verbal & written). - Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize time-sensitive issues. - Detail-oriented and thorough when presenting information. - Organized when it comes to time management and deadlines. - Able to work independently and collaboratively.
