All employees are expected to follow safe work practices, as well as adhere to company and client worksite safety policies and procedures. - Follow safe work practices and company and client worksite policies - Promote company Core Values to foster and safeguard family-centric culture - Prepare complete cost estimates for projects - Understand and monitor program of work to ensure estimates are completed prior to deadlines - Perform field take-offs/evaluations for estimate preparation - Compare various project documents for accuracy and consistency - Participate in estimate review process with internal and external stakeholders - Assist construction personnel throughout the project life cycle in tracking and understanding basis of cost estimate - Assist in the preparation and submission of change orders - Follow-up at the end of a project to close any loops in the estimating process - Conduct detailed analysis of contract documents and specifications for medium to large hard bid/lump sum projects to determine overall project requirements - Take ownership of medium to large size estimates or a component of larger estimates and is accountable for that specific work scope - Complete final cost estimate, adding all labor, equipment, material data, pricing documentation, overhead, and profit margins, and produce a final bid submission - Identify associated risk factors, including monitoring of published addenda that may alter original project scope - Complete full quantity take-off of all labor, equipment, and materials. Capture and understand trade scopes and communicate gaps / missing information - Coordinate and work with sales development and project management team to create site logistics, schedule, and execution plan - Review current material and construction equipment pricing and ensure that bid validity and price escalation are addressed and meet project's needs - Assist or lead in preparing final bid documents for submission to client to meet contract deadline requirements - Support estimating efforts of multiple office locations - Maintain data in E2 systems - Read and understand blueprints Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED required - A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a similar field is highly preferred; A combination of relevant education and experience would be considered in lieu of degree - RCDD is required - Minimum of five (5) years' experience estimating large scale HYPERSCALE data center projects including mission critical data centers and colocation facilities - Structured Cabling/Low Voltage industry experience required - Bluebeam expertise is REQUIRED - Familiarity with AutoCAD/BIM360 is preferred - Must have a proven understanding of the intricacies of working in the Hyperscale market, including the variations in design between the major hyperscale customers infrastructure platforms - Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project) - Must have the proven ability to design, engineer, estimate and develop a written and graphic representation of the company's proposed solutions utilizing the software resources provided by the company - Able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines - Impeccable problem-solving skills - Demonstrated detail orientation - Demonstrated and effective communication and interpersonal skills - Strong ability to work in teams and foster confidence in all - Solid proven estimating skills and understanding of conceptual estimating skillset - Ability to independently develop accurate, detailed, complete estimates Benefits - Competitive pay - Opportunities for professional development and career growth - BICSI Training Facilities - A supportive and inclusive work environment - Health, dental, and vision insurance - Paid time off and holidays Work Environment and Physical Demands The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Role Description An Azure Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, and managing Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, networking, and security controls. The role focuses on automating deployments, optimizing cloud performance, and ensuring high availability. As a secondary responsibility as M365 Engineer, the engineer supports Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint, handling user administration, license management, and basic security policies.
