Senior Front-End Developer, React
ALTEN
• Develop modern web interfaces using React (Hooks, Context API, functional components) • Design robust applications in TypeScript following development best practices • Integrate REST and/or GraphQL APIs with careful state and error handling • Manage state using Redux, Zustand, Recoil or equivalent solutions as required • Implement responsive, mobile-first interfaces in HTML5/CSS3 with modern frameworks (Tailwind, MUI, Styled-components…) • Write front-end tests (unit and end-to-end) with Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library, Cypress or Playwright • Optimize application performance (lazy loading, memoization, code splitting) • Ensure application accessibility (WCAG standards) • Participate in Git workflows (PRs, code reviews, rebases) and continuous improvement of practices • Collaborate in an Agile environment with product, design and engineering teams
Job Requirements
- Degree from an engineering school or a Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science or Web Development
- Minimum 7 years of front-end development experience
- Proven expertise in React
- Advanced knowledge of React (Hooks, Context API) and JavaScript ES6+ / TypeScript
- Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, Recoil…)
- Familiarity with modern tools (Vite, ESLint, Prettier) and CI/CD environments
- Practice of front-end testing (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress / Playwright)
