The Business Development Senior Manager is tasked with expanding Huron’s healthcare payer practice business by acquiring new clients and nurturing existing partnerships. This position may also include regional responsibilities as assigned by the company. You will be responsible for building and developing both new and current payor client relationships, engaging key leadership and decision-makers at various organizational levels (e.g., C-suite, stakeholders). As the Business Development Senior Manager, you will: - Drive revenue, profit, and sales growth by expanding business with existing clients and developing new accounts - Leverage deep knowledge of Huron’s payer practice offerings to align solutions with client and market needs - Collaborate across Huron teams to design, sell, and deliver multidisciplinary upsell solutions - Manage and grow strategic and key accounts, including leading account reviews and strategic planning sessions - Build and maintain strong client relationships while consistently exceeding customer expectations - Identify, pursue, and secure new payer clients to expand market presence - Partner with leadership to develop proposals, presentations, and RFP responses; recommend optimal pursuit strategies - Clearly articulate Huron’s payer value proposition and differentiated capabilities in the marketplace - Monitor industry trends and recommend innovative growth strategies - Maintain an accurate and active sales pipeline in Salesforce to support forecasting and opportunity management - Collaborate with payer, digital, and healthcare consulting leaders to create integrated solutions that drive larger, longer-term engagements NOT AVAILALBE TO H1B OR 3RD PARTY VENDORS Requirements: - 5+ years of sales experience in consulting, technology, staffing, or related fields; healthcare payer experience preferred - Proven success in a quota-based, leveraged compensation model aligned to growth goals - Strong consultative selling, client relationship management, and negotiation skills - Results-driven, goal-oriented, and resilient when facing obstacles or competing priorities - Highly organized with strong prioritization, self-management, and attention to detail - Excellent verbal and written communication skills; tactful and professional - Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction, retention, and peer leadership - Experience managing complex or challenging client negotiations - Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools (Salesforce or similar) - Established network of payer or digital healthcare client prospects preferred - Collaborative team player with the ability to build relationships at all levels - BA/BS degree preferred - Open to any U.S. location; travel as needed The estimated base salary range for this job is $125,000 - $150,000.  The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes and required travel.  This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s Business Development Commission Plan and Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. #LI-Remote Position Level Senior Manager Country United States of America
