• Own the full recruiting lifecycle for assigned roles, from kick-off through offer and close. • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, build interview plans, and align on hiring timelines. • Proactively source and engage candidates using platforms like LinkedIn, job boards, and talent communities. • Manage candidate pipelines with accuracy and care in our ATS (Ashby), ensuring data integrity and timely follow-through. • Drive a consistent, high-quality candidate experience at every touchpoint throughout the recruitment lifecycle. • Leverage data, hiring metrics, and feedback to continuously improve processes and pipeline health. • Ensure the team is maximizing recruiting tools and systems, including AI enhancements that elevate the interview experience. • Maintain and improve recruiting documentation to support consistency and scalability as the team grows. • Collaborate cross-functionally with People Ops to support seamless onboarding handoffs.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in a remote or high-growth environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously while delivering a quality experience for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Experience with modern Applicant Tracking Systems (Ashby preferred).
  • Strong sourcing skills across LinkedIn and other platforms like Juicebox or role-specific job boards, with a solid understanding of search filters and outreach best practices.
  • Comfortable using recruiting analytics and reporting to inform decisions and communicate pipeline health.
  • Tech-savvy and excited about using tools, automation, and AI to make recruiting more efficient.
  • Passionate about Givebutter's mission and committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive candidate experience.

Role Description The Simulated Participant (SP) at the Simulation & Immersive Learning Center at Texas A&M University plays a critical role in healthcare simulation education by portraying realistic and repeatable roles, such as patients, family members, or healthcare professionals, to support experiential learning and assessment for healthcare learners. SPs contribute to creating safe, high-quality, and professional simulation experiences that enhance learner competence, critical thinking, and patient safety. This position adheres to the standards set by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) and the Association of Standardized Patient Educators (ASPE) Standards of Best Practice (SOBP). Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in acting, teaching, or healthcare is preferred but not mandatory. - Prior experience as a standardized patient, simulated patient, or simulated participant is an asset. - Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills to portray roles realistically and provide effective feedback. - Ability to memorize and recall detailed case information to ensure consistency in portrayal. - Emotional intelligence and adaptability to respond appropriately to diverse learner interactions. - Comfort with receiving and incorporating constructive feedback to improve performance. - Basic computer literacy for completing online training modules, assessment forms, or scheduling tasks. - Commitment to professionalism, accountability, and collaboration, as outlined in ASPE SOBP values. - Willingness to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment with diverse learners and faculty. - Ability to maintain psychological and physical safety during simulation activities, including sensitive examinations, with appropriate training and consent.
