Role Description Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Mortgage Closer to join their team in a fully remote role. This position is ideal for a seasoned mortgage professional who has true hands-on closing experience and can independently manage files from clear to close through final funding coordination. They are looking for someone who understands the full closing process, works with a high level of accuracy, and is confident handling complex residential mortgage transactions in a fast-paced environment. The Senior Mortgage Closer will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, balancing, and finalizing closing packages for a variety of loan products. This person will coordinate closely with title companies, escrow, internal operations teams, and other involved parties to ensure loans close accurately, compliantly, and on time. The right candidate must be comfortable working independently, managing deadlines, resolving issues quickly, and maintaining strong attention to detail throughout the closing process. Key Responsibilities - Prepare and review closing packages for residential mortgage loans - Balance and finalize Closing Disclosures accurately and within required timelines - Manage loans from clear to close through closing and funding coordination - Coordinate with title, escrow, settlement agents, and internal departments to ensure timely closings - Review loan files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance prior to closing - Ensure all closing documents and figures align with investor, agency, and program requirements - Identify and resolve discrepancies, documentation issues, and closing-related conditions - Communicate clearly with internal teams and third parties to keep files moving efficiently - Maintain productivity and accuracy while managing a pipeline of loans in a remote environment Qualifications - At least 5 years of recent mortgage closing experience in a true mortgage closer role - Strong hands-on experience closing FHA, VA, Conventional, DPA, Non-QM, USDA, and Jumbo loans - Proven ability to independently manage a full pipeline of mortgage closings - Strong understanding of Closing Disclosures, balancing, funding coordination, and title/escrow interaction - Strong TRID, HMDA and RESPA knowledge - Experience reviewing files for accuracy, compliance, and readiness to close - Ability to work through complex closing scenarios with minimal oversight - Strong organizational skills, urgency, and attention to detail - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fully remote setting Benefits - Salary: $60-70k plus bonus Company Description Thank you for your interest!
