• Develop and evolve APIs and microservices in Python, focusing on scalability and performance; • Design and implement backend solutions on AWS using modern, cloud-native architectures; • Build and maintain event-driven architectures using AWS services (SQS, SNS, EventBridge or similar); • Work on the modernization and migration of legacy systems to AWS, ensuring a secure transition with no operational impact; • Develop integrations between systems in distributed and complex environments; • Participate in defining architecture and the technical design of solutions; • Ensure software engineering best practices (clean code, design patterns, TDD, and observability); • Support the evolution of the technical backlog and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Job Requirements
- Solid experience as a mid-level Python backend developer;
- Strong proficiency in developing APIs and microservices;
- Experience with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SQS, SNS, EventBridge or similar);
- Experience with event-driven architecture;
- Experience migrating legacy systems to the cloud (AWS);
- Knowledge of distributed systems and scalable architecture;
- Familiarity with Git, automated testing, and software engineering best practices.
Benefits
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related fields;
- Experience with ETL processes;
- Proficiency in SQL and Python;
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases;
- Experience in data analysis, monitoring key metrics, and developing analytical studies;
- Technical English for reading and understanding documentation;
- Preferred: Knowledge of Data Lake, experience with Apache Spark, background in data engineering projects in high-volume environments, and familiarity with best practices in data governance, data quality, and data architecture.
