Supply Planner – Purchasing, Vendor Coordination

Ursa Major Skincare

• Support day‑to‑day purchasing, vendor coordination, and inventory planning across product lines. • Create, issue, and manage purchase orders for packaging and finished goods. • Track open POs and follow up with suppliers to confirm ship dates, resolve delays, and expedite when needed. • Maintain accurate lead times, MOQs, and cost data to support planning and budgeting. • Reconcile discrepancies between POs, item receipts, and vendor invoices. • Monitor inventory levels and consumption to ensure adequate supply for production and customer demand. • Identify potential stockouts, delays, or excess inventory and recommend corrective actions. • Communicate regularly with suppliers, packaging vendors, and co‑manufacturers to confirm availability, lead times, and delivery schedules. • Coordinate inbound shipment details with logistics and warehouse teams. • Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory data in the ERP system.

Job Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in supply planning, purchasing, or operations—ideally within CPG.
  • Strong understanding of component lead times, packaging complexity, and co‑manufacturing workflows.
  • Excellent attention to detail and comfort managing large volumes of data.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for planning and reporting.
  • Experience with 3PLs, freight partners, or co‑manufacturers is a plus.
  • NetSuite experience is highly desirable but not a deal breaker.
