Senior Associate, Time and Labor Processor

Role Description The Sr Time and Labor Analyst will manage the application, compliance and posting/reconciliation of time and labor for designated divisions, including international groups. This includes: - Root cause analysis - Problem resolution - Customer service - Written and oral communication - Understanding of company policies and federal and state laws - Training - System testing - Time management The role focuses on end-to-end evaluation, integration and system improvement and works independently to make recommendations for solutions related to time and labor. Serve as liaison between payroll, HR/benefits, and accounting teams to ensure seamless integration and resolution of timecard related issues. Essential Functions: - Analyze and post labor to financial ERPs and payroll applications for assigned groups in accordance with company and regulatory requirements, including state, federal or global labor laws and policies. - Monitoring and analyzing payroll entries as needed, including identifying, analyzing, and fixing the root cause of issues. - Proactively identify issues with a timecard system to ensure compliance with FLSA laws, company policy, and government requirements. - Respond to inquiries from employees, other departments (payroll, compliance, audit, HR, etc.), and outside partners. - Actively participate in special projects as needed. - Collaborate with internal compliance in researching and providing records for audit; ensure SOX controls are complete. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive implementation results. - Research and analyze timecard data for company policy and legal compliance. - Recommend and implement process improvements ensuring consistency and collaboration among all team members. - Document processes and procedures to increase efficiency and standardization. - Leverage digital tools and AI technologies to automate time and labor processes. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field with 2 years minimum prior relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. - Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. - In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience. Preferred Additional Skills: - Experience in T&L compliance, finance or payroll. - Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information. - Computer skills in Outlook, Word, and Excel. - Demonstrated practical experience in root cause analysis, analytical thinking, independent judgement, initiative, multi-tasking, customer service, details, prioritization, flexibility, and teamwork. - Excellent written and oral presentation skills. Requirements - In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $61,500-$114,500. - The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $54,000-$100,000. - This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
