Senior Design Engineer
AVI-SPL
• Provide creative technology design support, in partnership with XTG Creative Technologists, for XTG and their partners • Translate customer requirements of XTG Creative Technologist or Creative Partner vision into functional system designs and proposals • Communicate design intent with hand sketches, electronic drawings, renderings, diagrams, outlines, storyboards, and/or narratives • Take ownership of problem-solving • Develop engineering and architectural (RCP/Floor Plan) drawings, calculations, and facilitate coordination with other disciplines and trades • Review pre-construction design and documentation • Assist with technical design pricing and identify any logistical challenges • Generate functional system descriptions and block diagrams • Provide engineering support to project installation team when needed • Serve as Customer liaison for engineering inquiries • Meet with vendors/prospective vendors to help evaluate products and identify new creative technologies • Post sales project consultation • Review and validate the work of lower-level Design Engineers • Support of meetings outside of local time zones is required (approximately 20 times per year)

- Track record of designing and implementing experiential AV solutions
- Advanced proficiency in Networking and AVoIP solutions
- Ability to work and think creatively and independently with a "how can it be done" mentality to ensure deadlines are met and problems are solved
- Ability to diagnose complex system problems
- Proficiency with test and calibration equipment
- Support user acceptance testing
- Advanced computer skills as required for the design, configuration, and operation of AV equipment
- Ability to travel internationally is required
- Valid Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standards

Part 21 Design Engineer
CAE USAProviding digitally immersive training & operational support solutions for multi-domain operations.
• Ensure engineering documents comply with all applicable EASA airworthiness and environmental protection requirements • Compile design documentation, including accomplishment instructions, engineering drawings, compliance reports, and instructions for continued airworthiness • Liaise with Compliance Verification Engineers (CVEs) to support demonstration of compliance • Manage design‑change projects from initiation through delivery
• Assist senior engineers in preparing electrical system layouts, single-line diagrams, string sizing calculations, conduit and cable schedules, and other design deliverables for utility-scale solar projects. • Research electrical components (modules, inverters, conductors, protection devices, etc.) and assist in the selection process based on specifications and code requirements. • Perform basic electrical calculations (i.e., voltage drop, fault current, system sizing, etc.), and analyze electrical data to support design decisions. • The primary focus will be developing 30% designs to service as the basis for our business development and estimating efforts. • Create and modify detailed electrical engineering drawings using AutoCAD Electrical, PVsyst, or similar design software. • Research and stay current on local, state, and federal civil engineering and solar development regulations. • Participate in design reviews and collaborate effectively with other engineering disciplines and project teams. • Assist in the preparation of technical reports, calculations, and specifications. • Maintenance of accurate project documentation, including design revision/iteration history.
• Carry out hands-on work across mechanical / facilities systems, supporting safe, reliable operations. • Interpret engineering drawings to diagnose issues, plan tasks, and verify correct installation/repair. • Support basic troubleshooting across HVAC / electrical interfaces as required for a multi-skilled generalist. • Complete job documentation and communicate clearly in English with site teams and stakeholders. • Follow site safety rules and participate in screening/compliance requirements.
