Job Description

Manager, Real Estate Strategy & Execution

Gordon Brothers

Role Description This role will serve as a central operator within the Real Estate Services platform, directly supporting division leadership in driving execution, improving operating discipline, and scaling the business. This role is focused on ownership and execution — ensuring that client engagements, transactions, and business development efforts move with speed, consistency, and accountability. This individual will sit at the intersection of transactions, lease administration, advisory, and business development, helping connect workflows across the platform and bring structure to a fast-moving, deal-driven environment. The role requires strong business judgment, a bias toward action, and the ability to translate strategy into execution across multiple concurrent workstreams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail oriented, and operationally minded, with the ability to anticipate needs, remove friction, and drive outcomes. They must be comfortable operating in a high-performance environment where priorities shift quickly and expectations around execution are high. A strong interest in leveraging AI, data, and technology to improve workflows, visibility, and decision making is critical. Responsibilities - Act as the operational lead for the division, ensuring priorities are clearly defined, tracked, and executed. - Drive accountability across active client engagements, including lease dispositions, restructuring, site selection, and portfolio optimization initiatives. - Partner with transaction managers and deal teams to ensure timelines, deliverables, and landlord and tenant interactions are progressing efficiently. - Build and maintain real-time visibility into pipeline, active deals, and key milestones across the portfolio. - Support and help institutionalize the business development process, including pipeline management, opportunity tracking, proposal development, and internal alignment. - Implement operating rhythms across the division, including pipeline reviews, deal calls, reporting cadence, and follow-through mechanisms. - Enforce quality control across all client deliverables, ensuring consistency in underwriting, presentations, and execution standards. - Identify bottlenecks across transactions, lease negotiations, and internal workflows, and proactively drive solutions. - Develop and refine scalable processes that improve speed, transparency, and execution across both healthy and distressed assignments. - Support cross-functional coordination with capital, inventory, and other Gordon Brothers teams to ensure a fully integrated platform approach. - Leverage AI and SaaS tools to improve reporting, pipeline visibility, underwriting support, and workflow automation. - Act as a force multiplier for leadership by owning special projects tied to growth, operational improvement, and platform development. Qualifications - 3 to 7 years of experience in business operations, consulting, transaction management, real estate advisory, or similar role. - Strong understanding of real estate workflows, ideally within retail, including transactions, lease negotiations, or portfolio management. - Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams in a deadline-driven, deal-oriented environment. - Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a commitment to execution quality. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and drive resolution quickly. - Effective communicator with the ability to work across senior leadership, deal teams, and external stakeholders. - Comfortable operating with a high degree of ownership, accountability, and autonomy. - Experience building or managing pipelines, tracking deals, and supporting business development efforts. - Highly proficient or genuinely interested in AI tools, automation, and SaaS platforms that improve productivity and decision making. What Success Looks Like - Deals and client engagements move with greater speed, coordination, and accountability. - Pipeline visibility improves, with clear tracking of opportunities, timelines, and conversion. - Business development becomes more structured, consistent, and actionable. - Deliverables reflect a consistent, high-quality standard across all engagements. - Leadership has clear, real-time insight into performance, priorities, and execution. - The division operates with greater discipline, scalability, and integration across service lines. Benefits - Very competitive total compensation package, including base salary and bonus plan. - Health insurance. - Dental benefits. - A generous 401(k) match. - Time off benefits. - And more.
