Key Responsibilities As a Technical Architect you will provide the leadership, facilitation, analysis and design tasks required for the development of an enterprise's solution architecture. You will create deliverables that help develop target-state guidance (reusable standards, guidelines, individual parts and configurations) for evolving the solution architecture and infrastructure, in order to enable business strategy and deliver targeted business outcomes. Your core duties will include, but are not limited to: - Work closely with customers and partners to gather requirements and design complex business application and data integration solutions. - Translate business processes and requirements into technical integration requirements and designs. - Evaluate new applications to assess integration approach. - Provide architecture-level infrastructure recommendations, configuration, and sizing requirements to support the Boomi product suite. - Be a product expert of Boomi applications including the AtomSphere integration platform, MDH master data management and Flow. - Recommend best practices for implementing, managing, and governing integrations using the Boomi AtomSphere integration platform. - Define and promote the adoption of best practices of Boomi's products across the internal and external user community. Essential Requirements - Master's or Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field of study. - 15 or more years of combined experience in at least three disciplines: business, information, solution or technical architecture, application development, middleware, business analysis, database management, strategic and operational planning in a multitier environment. - 5+ years of experience in architecting and building integration solutions with Boomi - Experience in building AI automation solutions using LLMs, RAG and AI Agents - Proven ability to design and optimize application and data integration processes across disparate systems. - Experience with enterprise integration tools, middleware technologies, and application and data integration patterns including ESB, MOM, JMS, SOAP/REST web services, databases, ETL. - Practical experience implementing services-oriented architecture design and enabling technologies including messaging, XML, JSON, web services, and HTTP. - Demonstratable experience and/or certification in one or more of AWS, Azure and GCP. - Demonstratable experience and/or certification in one or more of TOGAF, ArchiMate, SAFe, COBIT, Zachman and Design Thinking. - General knowledge of common CRM/SFA/ERP business systems (such as SAP, NetSuite, Workday, ServiceNow, AD, etc.) and processes (such as lead to cash, requisitions, order management, etc.) - General knowledge of key application infrastructure components such as VMware, storage (NAS, SAN, SMB), Java JVM, networking (firewall, load balancing, proxies). - Knowledge of security aspects considered at the architecture level and its application to all layers of the technology stack (such as payload encryption, protocol encryption, access controls, authentication/authorisation, data classification and network/infrastructure security). Desirable Requirements - Familiarity with other visual-based integration middleware platforms and Software-as-a-Service technologies. - Database skills including SQL, data modelling, and databases (e.g. MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle) and non-relational databases (e.g. NoSQL). - Messaging skills including JMS (e.g. ActiveMQ, MQSeries, OracleAQ). - Development/scripting skills with Java, Groovy, JavaScript. - Experience with containerisation and associated tooling, such as Docker, Kubernetes etc. - Knowledge of Data Management and API Management (e.g. GraphQL alongside REST). - Experience with performance tuning, capacity planning, monitoring metrics, etc. - Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD practices (familiarity with tools such as JIRA, ADO, Git, etc.) What you’ll achieve As an Architect you will work closely with customers to understand their requirements, assist with project scoping and build innovative solutions to solve business problems.
