As the Network Engineer Senior you will be responsible for: - Management of Juniper SRX 4100 firewalls - Management of F5 Load Balancers to include SSL certificate offloading, and custom iRule management - Windows system technical leadership - Optimizing health of network infrastructure and devices by taking proactive action to maximize uptime and mitigate risk - Enhancing security posture by utilizing tools such as Tenable Security Center and HCL BigFix to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities on systems running Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux - Utilizing Group Policies to align Windows system configuration in accordance with the DISA STIG security standards - Maintaining production application SSL certificates and Windows Public Key Infrastructure for user authentication - Managing user accounts, credentials, privileges, and access controls via Windows Active Directory - Liaison to external network operations teams - Maintaining Software Defined Network based model utilizing the Cisco ACI platform. - Maintaining Cisco ACI backbone hardware architecture utilizing Nexus spine and leaf switches as well as Application Policy Infrastructure Controllers (APIC's). - Defining Contracts for filtering traffic between endpoints within the ACI infrastructure. - Maintaining Windows Server 2019 infrastructure. - Maintaining multi-site Windows 2019 Active Directory Domain. - Maintaining Remote Desktop Services. - Maintaining a Windows Public Key Infrastructure with certificate authority to enable smart card login from local and remote sources. - Maintaining Windows Server Update Services to enable centralized management of Windows system patches. - Performing DISA STIG security hardening on Windows Active Directory domain member hosts utilizing Group Policies. - Maintaiinng automatically replicating file servers to backup and provide high availability to user data. - Maintaining a BIND DNS infrastructure on Red Hat Enterprise Linux Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science Experience: 5+ years of related experience Location: 100% remote Security clearance level: Be able to obtain Position of Trust US citizenship required GDIT IS YOUR PLACE At GDIT, the mission is our purpose, and our people are at the center of everything we do. The likely salary range for this position is $93,662 - $111,550. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Paid leave and paid holidays are prorated based on the employee's date of hire. The GDIT Paid Family Leave program provides a total of up to 160 hours of paid leave in a rolling 12 month period for eligible employees.
