Required Qualifications - A Bachelor’s degree is required. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree - 6+ years of experience as a technical engineer or architect designing, developing, implementing, and supporting network projects. This includes 2-3 years in network operations support and troubleshooting, 2 years as a consultant analyzing end-user needs, and 1 year applying architectural principles and managing product life cycles. - A heavy focus on at least three of the following is required: Cisco Switches, Cisco Routers, Cisco Firewalls, F5 Load Balancers, Cisco Wireless Controllers, Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), or Cisco Network Access Control (NAC). Preferred Qualifications - Experience in scripting and infrastructure as code using tools such as Ansible. - Advanced professional training and certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or PMP. - Knowledge of technologies such as Cloud Services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), Directory Services (LDAP, DNS, AD), ServiceNow, and SolarWinds. - Knowledge of the Utility business.
