Job Summary Candescent is seeking a dedicated Proposal Manager to join our Intelligent Banking Proposal Team. This critical role supports our business development initiatives by managing the end-to-end process for RFPs, RFIs, and client queries. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player who can successfully collaborate across product and sales teams, ensuring high-quality, accurate, and compliant responses are delivered under tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities and Deliverables A Candescent Proposal Manager drives revenue by leading the end-to-end RFP/RFI process, collaborating with sales, product, and technical teams to craft compelling, compliant, and accurate proposals. They manage content libraries, translate complex technical features into client value, and ensure high-quality submissions under tight deadlines. - Manages the coordination and timely completion of RFPs, RFIs and Questionnaires – including compiling existing language, creating new language as needed, and reviewing documents to ensure high quality, error-free final responses. - Builds a thorough understanding of the company’s products and strategies to facilitate the accurate and consistent creation of proposals. - Collaborates closely with product management and relationship management teams to promptly respond to client-driven requests. - Works closely with subject matter experts from across the organization to write and edit standard and/or craft customized language as needed. - Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both verbally and in writing, and the ability to work directly with senior team members under tight deadlines. - Reviews, proofreads, and checks content for accuracy, including questionnaires and databases. - Liaise with other internal support departments to obtain data, supporting documentation and other responsive information. - Updates and manages proposal content, ensuring the integrity and quality of internally stored content. Qualifications and Experience - Experience: 5-8+ years of experience in proposal management, RFP writing, or technical writing, preferably within banking, fintech, or SaaS. - Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of digital banking products, online/mobile banking technology, and security requirements. - Tools: Expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and content management tools (e.g. Loopio, Responsive, or similar). - Communication: Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities to create client-focused, persuasive content. Preferred Distinctions - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent international qualification, or a combination of education and experience that equals a degree. - Working knowledge of digital banking industry is preferred but not required - Highly organized with a proven ability able to handle multiple concurrent assignments; assumes personal responsibility for deliverables under tight deadlines, working well under pressure in a rapidly changing environment while maintaining the highest quality standards - Process and detail-oriented, placing a high priority on accuracy with particular focus on qualitative and quantitative accuracy - Team player and self-motivated with a strong work ethic who proactively can improve processes and work independently - Desire and ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative team environment with excellent interpersonal skills - Problem solver with ability to research solutions and suggest resolutions - Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple concurrent deadlines - Required: This position requires that the Proposal Manager be available during NAMER EST Hours of 9 – 5 p.m. EST. Role Description Develops moderately complex domestic and global proposal budget and text documents.
