Job Description As a QMS manager, you will be expected to manage the development, implementation and maintenance of the QMS processes and knowledge of QMS standards. This role will be collaboratively working with Global quality team in aligning to the Quality system requirements, micron practices including external customers during audit/visit. He/she is also the champion of Site quality improvement program toward zero defect mindset. Key Responsibilities & Tasks Manage Quality Management System - Monitor, review and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QMS and its processes - Define the KPi as per QMap, ensure the targets are met &/or ensure the corrective actions are effectively implemented where targets are not met. Communicate with global internal customers and external customers - Consult with department leadership on QMS Standards and initiatives - Promote awareness of QMS direction and status through global updates - Contribute to the promotion and awareness of customer requirements Champion of Quality Improvement Program - Responsible for identifying the area of opportunity to drive continual improvement towards zero defects. - Site representative in participating in critical network improvement program Provide technical leadership and support - Maintain knowledge of QMS standards, methods, and tools - Provide support to internal functions on the application, maintenance, and improvement of quality systems and department-specific processes - Maintain knowledge of Project Management and tools - Deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement, and control Manage and develop the team - Establish goals and conduct performance appraisals; coach and provide career development to QMS and PCS team - Identify strengths and create specific development plans - Provide guidance or mentoring to team member as necessary Provide recognition and drive accountability - Promote teamwork and resolve conflict - Timely recognize good effort and promote continual improvement Requirement & Qualifications - Bachelor Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or equivalent - Lead Auditor for IATF16949 and ISO9001 requirements - At least 18+ years' experience in semiconductor industry/EMS Industry and in managerial role. - Familiar with AIAG 5 core tools. - Proven ability to collaborate well with cross-functional teams to understand needs and translate them into actionable plans, deliverables, and resource requirements - Excellent organizational and management skills and outstanding interpersonal and teamwork skills Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must have: - A proven track record as an internal auditor or Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, IATF 16949 , - In-depth knowledge and experience in effecting deploying FMEA, PPAP, control plans, SPC. MSA. - Strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with advanced techniques. - Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively. - Experience working with external auditors and managing customer relationships. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - A degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or a related field.
