Solutions ConsultantThe Solutions Consultant plays a critical role in the 3Play sales process by differentiating our technology solutions, ensuring that customers understand the “art of the possible” with 3Play, and supporting the launch of the customer’s initial use cases to maximize customer value realization. As a Solutions Consultant, your primary responsibilities will be to engage with existing and potential customers to understand their business objectives and technical requirements, and design solutions using the 3Play platform and products to support their accessibility and international reach goals. Video content is everywhere, and digital accessibility and localization solutions are critical for media and entertainment companies, corporations, and higher education institutions seeking to engage worldwide audiences. Our solutions provide everything needed to create accessible, engaging, and globally scalable content. Duties and Responsibilities - Serve as the technical lead throughout the sales cycle, including discovery, product demos, security reviews, solution design, statement of work preparation, and scoping for accessibility and multilingual video localization solutions. - Design end-to-end solutions, including workflow concepts, appropriate documentation, and technical presentations for customers. - Lead onboarding for new customers and new groups, accelerating adoption and value recognition. - Document solution designs to ensure a seamless post-sale transition across Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Operations teams. - Partner with Product and Sales to ensure solutions meet agreed-upon requirements and user acceptance criteria, including those related to multilingual content delivery, workflow automation, and global content distribution. - Deliver tailored demos and account walkthroughs that highlight 3Play’s differentiated platform capabilities. - Collaborate with Sales to communicate customer product requirements and inform roadmap priorities. - Participate in internal deal opportunity reviews to align on product, pricing, and win strategy, helping position solutions that support customers expanding their video content across languages and regions. - Act as a trusted advisor throughout the buyer journey, guiding customers on best practices for implementing accessibility and localization solutions that support broader audience reach and operational efficiency. Position Requirements - 3+ years of related work experience in a technology company, ideally within localization services or enterprise software supporting global content workflows. - Experience spanning pre-sales support, technical consulting, solution design, and end-to-end project delivery from planning through deployment and management. - Proven success consulting with customers on technology implementation and system integration projects. - Direct experience with enterprise SaaS technology, SOA, REST-style APIs, ETL, and handling data/content exchange with video platforms, CMS/TMS systems, and localization workflows. - Strong understanding of the localization lifecycle, including content preparation, translation, adaptation, quality assurance, and delivery across multiple languages and regions. - Familiarity with localization concepts, including language asset management, terminology/glossary creation, linguistic quality assurance, subtitle and caption formats, and regional compliance requirements. - Understanding of global consumer behaviors and cultural considerations that influence localization strategy and user engagement. - Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers, linguists, and internal stakeholders across regions. - A natural problem solver with a love for technology who can work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities. - Exceptional communication skills. - Experience in a start-up technology company is an asset. - A bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or other technology is preferred.
