Role Description Zurich (Schaumburg, IL) seeks an IT Advisory Solution Architect to design, advise, and oversee modern, cloud-native enterprise solutions while coordinating with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure successful delivery. Specific duties include: - Architect end-to-end cloud-native and hybrid enterprise solutions on Azure Cloud PaaS. - Provide technical leadership in building microservice-based systems with .NET and Azure services. - Guide project teams across front-end, back-end, and database layers. - Define and implement DevOps strategies using Azure DevOps, TeamCity, and Octopus Deploy. - Collaborate with development teams to guide architecture decisions, software best practices, and delivery pipelines. - Coordinate with external vendors and service delivery partners. - Serve as a technical advisor in assessments and solution delivery. - Oversee solution delivery to ensure alignment with architectural vision, cost, and time estimates. Requires occasional travel within the U.S. Option to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a closely related field of study. - 7 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Senior Consultant, Software Engineer, Software Programmer, or similar position in IT architecture, development, and solution design.
