Boeing Ukraine is seeking a Engineering Manager - Boeing Commercial Airplanes Customer Support Service Engineering 737NG/MAX Airframe who oversees highly experienced employees located in various locations and time zones performing post-production fleet support activities. You will be leading the development and execution of project and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals. You will solicit resources for projects and processes, provide technical leadership in the management of suppliers and partners and lead process improvements. Responsibilities: - Manages employees performing activities within multiple (2 or more) engineering disciplines. - Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. - Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. - Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. - Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. - Manages, develops and motivates employees. - Active communication with Customer on forecast and scope of upcoming work, required resources and possible risks. Interact with Customers for confirmation and approval of project and processes requirements, including quality, budget and terms. If necessary, clarification of technical requirements. - Project execution: monitors progress of work and its accordance to requirements, systematic analysis of work results, reports to leadership about work progress and results. - Support of organizational Quality Management System according to ISO2001/AS9100 standards. - Summarize results of project execution together with technical leads, discipline leaders and Customers. - Provide systematic receiving of the information about Customer's satisfaction, analyze this information and, if necessary, develop corrective actions. Reports to leadership about results of analysis of Customer's satisfaction. Basic Qualifications: - 3 + years' experience in project management. - 3 + years' experience leading cross functional teams or complex projects. - Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. - Experience in people management. - Flexibility to support various time zones and off hours meetings. - Good presentation skills. - Flexibility, out of box thinking. - Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written English and Ukrainian interpersonal skills. - Existing authorization to work in Ukraine. Preferred Qualifications: - Certification in project management from the accredited study program. - 3+ years of project management experience in aviation/engineering field. - Proven ability to embrace change, lead continuous improvement, and treat safety and quality as top priorities. - Risk analysis and risk management skills. - Ability to make decisions in uncertain environment and take risks. - Strong communication skills, teamwork, initiative, integrity and attention to details.
