AWS Software Developer – App Mod, App Dev

Cloudelligent

• Develop and implement scalable, cloud-native applications using AWS services and modern frameworks. • Modernize legacy systems (e.g., .NET, Java, or on-prem workloads) into microservices, containers, or serverless architectures. • Collaborate with Solutions Architects to translate business requirements into technical implementations. • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts using AWS Developer Tools, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins. • Write Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. • Develop APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems for leveraging services such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, and Step Functions. • Integrate backend services with data stores like DynamoDB, Aurora, or RDS. • Collaborate with data and AI/ML teams to embed machine learning or generative AI capabilities using services like SageMaker or Bedrock. • Ensure applications adhere to AWS best practices for security, performance, and cost efficiency. • Troubleshoot and optimize applications for scalability, reliability, and performance. • Stay current with new AWS services, frameworks, and cloud-native development trends.

Job Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in application development, with at least 3 years on AWS.
  • Proven experience modernizing legacy applications or building microservices/serverless applications.
  • Strong programming skills in one or more languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java, C#, or Go).
  • Proficient in front-end development in modern frameworks such as: React, Angular, and Vue.js.
  • Hands-on experience with containers (Docker, ECS, EKS) and serverless (Lambda, API Gateway).
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins).
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Understanding of AWS application services such as DynamoDB, App Runner, Step Functions, SQS, and SNS.
  • Familiarity with integrating AI/ML or Generative AI services (SageMaker, Bedrock, or OpenAI APIs).
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills with a passion for clean, maintainable code.
  • Highly Preferred AWS Certified Developer – Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate.
  • Experience working in client-facing consulting or agile delivery environments.
