Senior DevOps Engineer

• Architect, implement, and enhance CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for application and infrastructure deployments. • Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, Azure Bicep, and PowerShell. • Build and support reusable infrastructure patterns for Azure environments, with awareness of broader multi-cloud design principles. • Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to support the build, deployment, and operational support of modern web applications, APIs, and platform services. • Apply a strong application development background to improve build, release, deployment, and configuration management processes. • Manage and improve existing Azure DevOps pipelines and deployment workflows. • Oversee and troubleshoot Azure PaaS and platform services used across the organization. • Support secure cloud design and deployment practices with strong understanding of networking, identity, access management, secrets management, and environment security. • Partner with development and security teams to improve deployment reliability, operational maturity, and overall security posture. • Provide mentorship and technical leadership to other DevOps engineers. • Participate in troubleshooting, operational support, and continuous improvement of DevOps and cloud engineering practices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, platform engineering, or similar roles.
- Strong hands-on experience working in Azure-based environments.
- Strong background in application development and delivery, including understanding of how modern applications are built, configured, deployed, and supported.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking and security concepts, including DNS, routing, load balancing, firewalls, identity, secrets, certificates, and secure connectivity.
- Experience using AI-assisted engineering and developer productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools to improve delivery speed, scripting, code quality, troubleshooting, and documentation while maintaining sound engineering judgment, security practices, and review standards.
- Proven experience mentoring team members and contributing to technical leadership efforts.
