• Independent operational and technical responsibility for ongoing financial accounting • Drive efficiency and digitalization of finance processes as part of global process harmonization • Ensure proper bookkeeping in accordance with the German Commercial Code (Handelsgesetzbuch, HGB) and contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements • Support coordination of internal and external audits by auditors and tax advisors and prepare relevant documentation • Collaborate with Controlling and participate in budget, forecast and investment planning, as well as analyze financial KPIs to derive sound recommendations for action • Responsible for processing, monitoring and securing payment flows to ensure liquidity • Support optimization of working capital and risk management • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal policies and contribute to the further development of internal control systems
Job Requirements
- Completed commercial/business training with further qualification as a Bilanzbuchhalter (IHK), a degree in business administration/finance, or comparable international qualifications
- Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting, ideally in a similar senior role
- Excellent German and English skills
- Solid knowledge of the German Commercial Code (Handelsgesetzbuch, HGB), tax law, and accounting principles
- Experience with a mainstream accounting system (e.g., SAP or Microsoft Dynamics AX) and confident use of MS Office, especially Excel
- Analytical mindset, strong quality awareness and a structured way of working

Role Description The Senior Non-QM Underwriter is responsible for reviewing and evaluating complex residential mortgage loan applications that fall outside of Non-Qualified Mortgage (NQM) standards. This role requires advanced underwriting expertise to assess layered risk, analyze alternative income documentation, and make sound credit decisions in accordance with investor guidelines and company policies.
