• Managing day-to-day accounting activities across European entities, including A/P, A/R, general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close • Supporting accounting operations for the Netherlands headquarters and wider European business transactions • Preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, VAT filings, tax reporting, and statutory requirements across multiple jurisdictions • Supporting intercompany reconciliations and group reporting activities • Booking accruals, payroll journals, and general accounting entries with accuracy and confidence • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and treasury activities • Improving procurement workflows and internal approval processes • Contributing to the implementation and optimization of MS Dynamics modules and finance operations • Partnering with external accountants, auditors, tax advisors, and local stakeholders where needed • Identifying smarter ways of working and continuously improving financial controls and operational efficiency
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5–7 years of accounting experience, ideally within a start-up, scale-up, or fast-growing international business
- Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, hardware, or industrial environments is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance across international business structures
- Experience with month-end and year-end close processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Knowledge of IFRS and experience working with Dutch and/or broader European financial reporting structures is a strong plus
- Experience with MS Dynamics CRM/ERP is highly preferred
- Someone who works independently, takes ownership, and doesn’t wait to be told where the fire is
- A strong collaborator who can work seamlessly with cross-border teams and stakeholders
- Strong communication skills in English
- Experience working in an international environment is a strong plus
- Requires availability to work from our Katowice office following its launch.

Role Description The Staff Accountant supports the financial operations of a multifamily property management portfolio. This role is responsible for accurate general ledger maintenance, monthly property-level financial reporting, bank reconciliations, and coordination with onsite teams. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working within Entrata and Yardi, with at least two years of financial accounting experience. Key Responsibilities - Prepare property-level journal entries including accruals, amortizations, recurring charges, and reclasses. - Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly for assigned properties. - Review property operating activity for proper coding. - Monitor and reconcile security deposits, prepaid rent, delinquency, and tenant ledger balances. - Execute month-end close for assigned properties. - Generate monthly financial packages including income statements and balance sheets. - Pull and validate data from Entrata and Yardi. - Review resident transactions, rent charges, concessions, and payments. - Prepare and reconcile monthly bank statements. - Assist with payables processing weekly. - Support audits, lender reporting, and compliance. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. - Minimum of 2 years of financial accounting experience. - Experience in property management accounting. - Proficiency with Entrata and Yardi. - Understanding of GAAP and general ledger structure. - Strong Excel skills. Requirements - High attention to detail. - Ability to meet monthly deadlines. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to troubleshoot Entrata and Yardi issues. - Professional integrity and confidentiality. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Teams. Qualifications Preferred - Experience with multifamily housing or multi-entity accounting. - Knowledge of CAM reconciliations or capital project accounting a plus. - Strong analytical skills.
