Senior Basis Consultant

Turnkey Consulting

• Perform administration, operation, and maintenance of SAP HANA systems, associated SAP components, and integrated third‑party tools • Act as senior technical support for medium to complex system issues, including ownership of escalated incidents and participation in crisis or war‑room calls when required • Ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance, and security requirements within SAP system design, configuration, and implementation • Maintain deep technical knowledge of SAP system architecture, landscape design, and infrastructure components • Evaluate, install, configure, and deploy SAP applications, system software, patches, upgrades, and enhancements across enterprise environments • Support and lead S/4HANA, OS/DB, and HANA migration activities, including planning, execution, testing, and post‑migration stabilization • Collaborate with analysts, solution architects, and system owners during testing, validation, and rollout of SAP solutions • Perform performance tuning, job optimization, and troubleshooting for high‑volume and complex processing scenarios • Mentor, guide, and support junior BASIS consultants and represent the BASIS team in technical and project governance meetings

Job Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands‑on SAP BASIS experience across complex SAP landscapes
  • Minimum 2+ years of SAP OS/DB migration experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of SAP HANA migration experience
  • Successful completion of at least two full S/4HANA migration lifecycles
  • Strong experience with: SAP HANA administration and performance tuning
  • SAP LT Replication Server (SLT)
  • Database performance tuning and SQL query analysis
  • SAP system sizing (HANA / application sizing)
  • SAP on VMware environments
  • Hands‑on experience with multiple data integration tools, including ETL and data replication technologies
  • Familiarity with SAP security patches, upgrades, and system refresh activities
  • Strong client‑facing communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • Strong organizational, delegation, and task prioritization skills
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, including mentoring and supervising technical resources.
