What you'll do We have rapidly grown our footprint across the Asia Pacific region as our business and teams continue to grow. Our Workplace Experience role is a unique blend of managing our workplaces (including expansion) and building community in our Singapore office. Success in this role means that we can plan ahead for our office/desk needs as we grow, our office is well-stocked with snacks and drinks, and our employees have opportunities to come together as a Singapore community. You will also support our other workplace needs in other regions alongside local teams. Our team adds value by supporting people with the workspace, tools, and wellbeing initiatives for them to do their best work at Airwallex. Responsibilities: - Workspace Management: Ensure our Singapore facilities and offices are well-maintained, safe, clean, and welcoming by partnering with building management and in-house IT - Project Management: Support office expansions, new space requirements, working with the building management, and working with cross-functional teams to outfit new offices in line with Airwallex's workplace vibe - Community Engagement: Build, drive, and execute a calendar of social, wellbeing, educational, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) events for teams, actively leading the Singapore social committee, business leaders, and internal champions - Vendor Management: Maintain effective relationships with cleaning staff, building management, neighboring tenants, and other vendors to ensure seamless office operations - Budget & Invoice Management: Manage office-related budgets for snacks, drinks, events, and space; collaborate with Finance on invoice processing and resource allocation - Onboarding Support: Support new joiners so they feel welcomed and integrated into our workplace community. - Support workplace events, which may include handling a variety of food and beverage items (including non-halal food and alcohol) Minimum qualifications: - Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a people-focused role-such as workplace experience, employee engagement, office management, facilities, or hospitality/events management - Skilled in managing vendors to deliver on deadlines and stay within budget for office supplies, employee events, and space expansion initiatives - Proven track record supporting workplace expansions, with familiarity in building management relationships. Proactive problem solver who seeks opportunities and solutions. - Passionate about bringing people together, serving as a cultural touchstone, and acting as the friendly, approachable face of the office or team - Naturally collaborative; skilled at engaging and coordinating groups to work towards shared goals.
