Role Description Performs functions to plan, coordinate and manage activities involving strategic purchasing, scheduling, and requisitioning of product purchased parts. Maintains effective inventory control records and system procedures. Manages supplier relationships. - Review of Engineering Release Package including Bill of Material (BOM) for planning and procurement of product purchase parts and fabrication for all Projects - Issues and manages purchase orders with external vendors - Plans production scheduling activities; handles internal production orders and management of required materials (including procurement) to fulfill customer order requirements - Executes projects to meet customer deadlines and provide accurate Supplier ship date commitments to maintain supplier on-time delivery as well as customer on-time deliveries - Provides reliable cost estimates and production schedules for Technical Sales and Operations - Manages vendor, inventory, production and planning/scheduling - Responsible for development of Sourcing Plans and documentation of all cost savings activities - Performs strategic sourcing on key items for projects domestically and internationally - Maintains material, freight, PPV, and departmental budgets per established metrics - Effectively communicate with both internal and external customers Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. The vocational team is a small and close-knit team dedicated to helping others. The successful candidate will coordinate and manage the employee disability management program. This is a remote position and will work Monday through Friday daylight hours. Responsibilities: - Functions as an internal consultant to the supervisory and management levels regarding best practices and continuous process improvement within the area of ADA. Provide ADA consultation services on non-occupational cases. - Maintain the purchase and tracking of equipment and AT devices that are purchased through the accommodation program. - Participate in the preparation and presentation of individual and group progress reports to management regarding status of employees with an accommodation. - Perform job analysis and other supports to maintain the integrity of the task bask - Coordinate all ongoing services, such as sign language interpreters or personal care attendants, needed to support an accommodation request. - Provides assistance to employees who are eligible for STD and LTD benefits.
