Senior Software Engineer

• You'll architect serverless backend systems, design scalable APIs, and help us turn massive datasets into real-time insights. • As a senior engineer, you'll also mentor teammates and drive technical decisions. • You'll work directly with product and design, own entire features end-to-end, and have actual influence on product direction. • You'll mentor engineers and shape our technical strategy. • High-availability systems that handle billions of requests without breaking • AI-powered features that transform how customers interact with their data • Serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS) that scales automatically • Scalable APIs that support our growing developer ecosystem • Real-time analytics that turn hours of analysis into seconds
Job Requirements
- 7+ years building production software
- Previous experience working in SaaS companies with an understanding of SaaS-specific challenges and business needs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to work effectively in remote distributed teams
- Strong Node.js and Python skills (async patterns, serverless architecture)
- Deep AWS experience (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, SNS)
- Database optimization experience (SQL and NoSQL)
- CI/CD and automated testing know-how
- Remote work experience; you communicate clearly in writing and can work autonomously
- Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to technical culture
- Not Required, but great if you also have:
- Familiarity with AWS security best practices and compliance standards
- Experience with real-time analytics processing
- Experience with C#
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Background in high-traffic consumer applications
- An understanding of networking areas such as URL shortening, redirection logic, and efficient link routing to complement the platform's functionality is appreciated
