Senior Communications Manager – Brand Experiences

Maleda Tech

• Lead end-to-end project management and on-the-ground execution of large-scale brand activations and experiential campaigns • Manage experiential agency partners to keep milestones, timelines, and deliverables on track • Oversee activation budgets and proactively communicate any budget-impacting changes to senior leadership • Participate in weekly cross-functional calls with press, social, celebrity, and influencer teams — distilling inputs and managing expectations across stakeholders • Build and present creative review decks for talent partners, ensuring alignment on fabrication and production decisions • Serve as the primary day-to-day liaison for celebrity and talent partners, receiving and executing creative notes in collaboration with the internal celebrity team • Provide real-time problem solving and negotiation support — including managing last-minute talent requests and escalating as needed • Maintain a steady, organized presence at the center of fast-moving, multi-workstream campaign work • Travel domestically approximately every other month for content shoots and live activations

Job Requirements

  • 8–10 years of experience bringing brand activations or experiential marketing programs to life — production/execution experience is essential, not just concept development
  • Demonstrated ability to manage agencies, budgets, and cross-functional stakeholders simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working directly with creative teams or a background in creative development for brand campaigns
  • Familiarity with how communications, PR, and social teams function — and experience collaborating closely with those functions (even if your primary background is not in PR/comms)
  • Extremely proactive, solution-oriented, and calm under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal skills — comfortable managing diverse personalities both internally and with external partners.

Qualifications - 8+ years in communications, PR, or media — ideally spanning both agency and in-house roles. - An established, existing network of journalist and media contacts in tech, health, and/or enterprise sectors. - Proven track record of landing top-tier coverage (national press, trade media, broadcast) and shaping brand narratives. - Experience managing and directing external agencies with rigor and good creative taste. - Experience leading or closely collaborating on social media strategy and execution. - Sharp writing skills: you can take a complex, technical story and make it human and compelling. - Comfort operating at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and enterprise business. - Fluency in data: you know how to measure what matters and adjust accordingly. Benefits - A range of medical, dental and vision benefits. - Stock options for all full-time employees. - Flexible time off to enjoy the autonomy to take time off as needed to rest and recharge without vacation accrual limits, while coordinating with your manager and team to ensure business continuity and project goals are met. - A 401(k) plan with company match, life insurance, plus long- and short-term disability. - The opportunity to directly improve medical care and impact patient outcomes.
