Role Description The IFS Finance Business Analyst is a strategic role responsible for leading the analysis, optimization, and implementation of financial processes within an IFS ERP system. This role demands a high level of expertise in finance operations, IFS ERP functionality, and project management. The senior analyst will not only ensure that the finance module meets advanced business requirements but also drive improvements, manage complex projects, and lead cross-functional teams. - Strategic Planning and Leadership: Lead the development and execution of strategic plans for leveraging the IFS finance module to meet organizational goals. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts and finance team members. - Advanced Business Analysis: Conduct complex analyses of financial processes, identifying opportunities for significant enhancements in efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Lead the redesign of finance processes to optimize the use of the IFS system. - High-Level Stakeholder Management: Act as a key liaison between senior finance, IT leadership, and external partners. Present findings, progress, and strategies effectively to executive-level stakeholders. - Project and Change Management: Oversee and manage large-scale IFS finance module projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new feature implementations. Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption and minimal disruption. - Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure the IFS finance system's compliance with global financial regulations and standards. Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with financial reporting and system integrity. - Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in ERP systems and financial management. Lead initiatives to implement new technologies or methodologies that enhance financial operations and reporting. Qualifications - Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. - Extensive experience in finance or as a Business Analyst with a significant portion focused on IFS ERP systems in a senior capacity. - Demonstrated ability to lead projects and teams in a complex organizational environment. - In-depth knowledge of financial processes, accounting standards, and compliance regulations. - Proven track record of implementing significant improvements or changes within an ERP environment, preferably IFS. - Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills. - Requires ability to travel. Desired Skills - Professional certification in IFS ERP, project management (e.g., PMP), or finance (e.g., CPA). - Experience with business intelligence tools and advanced data analysis techniques. - Knowledge of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity principles as they relate to ERP systems.
