• Provide variety of interesting and challenging responsibilities • Involved in nuclear power plant systems design • Prepare or review modification packages for operating nuclear power plants • Create system and component performance specifications • Develop functional mechanical drawings or drawings for nuclear power plant systems • Conduct engineering analyses and evaluations to support modifications and operation of plant systems • Generate technical specifications and procurement documents for plant equipment • Evaluate vendor bids for plant equipment • Conduct studies and options evaluations for modifications to operating nuclear power plants

• Immerse yourself in Kit's product surfaces and current component landscape in your first week. • Audit the current UI for patterns, tokens, and inconsistencies in your first month. • Establish tokens and primitives mapped between Figma and code in partnership with the front-end engineering team in your first six months. • Create a stable, predictable design-to-code workflow that feature squads rely on in your first year. • Drive high adoption of system components in new feature work with visible consistency improvements across surfaces that previously diverged. • Lead the evolution of our component library in Storybook to become the canonical reference for UI behaviour and states. • Establish guardrails that prevent UI drift before it starts, allowing feature squads to ship faster with higher-quality UI without needing to check in with you on every decision.

• Develop detailed piping designs, layouts, and specifications based on project requirements and industry standards • Perform stress analysis and thermal expansion calculations to ensure system integrity • Select appropriate materials and components for piping systems, considering factors such as temperature, pressure, and chemical compatibility • Lead piping engineering efforts for projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, civil, electrical) to integrate piping systems into overall project designs • Prepare cost estimates, schedules, and risk assessments for piping-related activities • Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ANSI, OSHA) • Conduct quality assurance checks and audits of piping systems during design and construction phases • Conduct hydraulic and flow analysis to optimize piping system performance • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to piping systems during construction, commissioning, and operation • Supervise junior engineers and designers, providing guidance and technical expertise • Communicate technical solutions and progress updates to clients and stakeholders
