Role Description Hitachi Vantara seeks a passionate and talented Associate Security Analyst. In the role of Associate Security Analyst, you will collaborate with Cybersecurity team members to review and communicate security information across teams. This position is suitable for individuals at the entry level who have prior internship experience. We seek a proactive and dependable candidate eager to advance and continually develop their skills in the cybersecurity industry. - Assist Cybersecurity Director in day-to-day activities by executing assigned tasks, tracking action items, and supporting the delivery of Cybersecurity Awareness, Training and Communication and general Cybersecurity initiatives under established direction and guidance. - Contribute to the drafting, updating, formatting, maintenance and publishing of Cybersecurity Awareness and Training material, including internal website content, user instruction, documentation, and compliance programs, based on inputs from stakeholders and industry best practices. - Provide operational and analytical support to Cybersecurity and Cybersecurity awareness and training initiatives, including coordination of tasks, research, data collection, analyzing metrics, and progress tracking for related security projects. - Participate in Cybersecurity awareness and training-related initiatives by performing research, collecting information, coordinating inputs, and supporting execution activities, without owning project strategy or final decisions. - Develop training content, presentation materials, and supporting documentation for cybersecurity awareness and training, as defined and led by Cybersecurity Director. - Assist in organizing, updating, and version-controlling Cybersecurity documentation, web content, and training records, ensuring information remains current and accessible. - Track assigned tasks, document meeting notes, and support regular status reporting for Cybersecurity Awareness and Training activities. Qualifications - Previous internship experience in Cybersecurity and IT is desired. - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity. - 2+ years of experience working in cybersecurity awareness, training, and communication. - Experience working in Project Management and Planning Projects. - Knowledge and understanding of Cybersecurity fundamentals. - Knowledge and understanding of Project Management fundamentals including Agile Methodology. - Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is desired. Requirements - Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders into simple, actionable, and engaging messages that promote secure behaviors to reduce human risks. - Attention to detail. - Strong sense of ownership and accountability without close supervision. - Strong organizational skills to plan, manage, and execute awareness campaigns and project related work. - Able to independently plan, prioritize, and execute work based on objectives, milestones, and deadlines. - Approaches challenges analytically, breaks down complex problems, and drives practical, effective solutions. Role Description The area of responsibility for the Information Security Analyst I is to maintain and improve the security posture of the Credit Union. The Information Security Analyst I position is responsible to help ensure that ICCU is secure through the support and maintenance of best practices, risk-based security requirements and controls set-forth by the ICCU Security Program. This is an entry level role with a specialty in InfoSec Physical Security. - Analyze and report on all controls associated with the Idaho Central Credit Union Security Program. - Maintain and support the Splunk SIEM Product used by Idaho Central Credit Union. - Assist with internal and external audits. - Provide front line monitoring and configuration of security systems. - Assist in security investigations. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or engineering/math field of study highly preferred. - Security+ or SSCP certification. - 1 to 4 Years of experience in the Information Security field. - Ability to communicate with Executive Management, Credit Union personnel and communicate effectively through customized reports. - Ability to always maintain confidentiality of Credit Union and member records. Requirements - A demonstrated ability to figure out complex problems. - Ability to research, understand and report on high level security issues. - Attention to detail on many concurrent projects and initiatives. - A demonstrated cooperative and positive attitude toward members and other Credit Union staff. - Ability to work without supervision. - Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by ICCU.
