• Own the architecture and evolution of the SMBP Operator's CRD API surface • Design and implement flexible network configuration patterns • Build the observability integration enterprise customers expect • Harden the operator's security posture • Make SMBP deployable across the full enterprise Kubernetes landscape • Build operational tooling for operator support • Partner with customer-facing teams and engage enterprise customers

• Scale the decision making process for tools for the tvScientific AI team, from our workflows to our training infrastructure to our Kubernetes deployments • Improve the developer experience for the data science team • Upgrade our observability tooling • Make every deployment smooth as our infrastructure evolves.

• Own three to five concurrent Platform Engineering programs end to end: charter, plan, execute, close • Drive programs that cross team boundaries • Maintain program-level risk registers, decision logs, and status artifacts • Manage the vendor accountability lifecycle • Drive vendor transitions through contractual closeout • Run Platform Engineering Kanban ceremonies and the Architectural Review Board • Produce reporting that feeds Platform Engineering staff meetings

• Design and build secure-by-default AWS infrastructure (Terraform, CDK) • Own networking architecture: VPCs, routing, subnets, VPNs, DNS, NAT gateways • Configure firewall rules, security groups, private networking, edge services • Set up and support containerized environments (ECS, EKS, Fargate) • Lead observability implementation: metrics, logs, tracing • Integrate system/network logs into SIEM in collaboration with Security Engineer • Build and manage CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, etc.) • Collaborate on incident detection and remediation • Develop and document runbooks for on-call and platform issues • Optimize for performance, cost, and high availability • Respond to platform reliability issues and lead postmortems • Responding to RFP's and customer questions related to network setup and infrastructure
