Accounting Associate

Small Batch Standard

• Handle the day‑to‑day AP and bookkeeping work for a set of brewery clients in Bill.com and QuickBooks Online • Maintain clean, accurate QBO bank feeds by matching transactions, entering payroll, and keeping bank and POS syncs current • Support monthly close work by collecting and preparing statements and documentation for your Accountant teammates • Communicate with brewery clients to request information, resolve questions, and keep their accounting moving smoothly • Collaborate closely with our Accountants and other Associates so they have what they need from your work to complete monthly close and compliance filings

Job Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience as an Accounting Associate, Bookkeeper, Staff Accountant or similar
  • Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online; experience with Bill.com is a plus
  • Comfort working with multiple clients or entities at once (public firm, outsourced accounting, or similar experience is a plus)
  • Reliable internet, a quiet setup for video calls, and availability during normal business hours (9–5, Monday–Friday)
  • Must be based in the U.S. and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
  • Preferred: experience with brewery or inventory-heavy, accrual-based clients; prior experience with tools like Square, Toast, Gusto, Podio or Asana

• Responsible for accurate project accounting reporting in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). • Conduct regional-level data analysis to monitor weekly and monthly project performance for the portfolio and provide detailed comments regarding the financial status of projects. Review project setups of large projects completed by the Project Accountant to ensure accurate backlog reporting and appropriate setup according to the scope of the work. Evaluate and question project risk assessments, including contingencies and setup factors, when justification is unclear. • Responsible for proactively monitoring and addressing project maintenance for the region within Oracle and budget/funding updates as needed. • Responsible for monthly regional reporting to the Director of Project Accounting including detailed comments on project status that meet exception reporting and projects marked as significant for unbilled and unearned revenue. • Facilitate in the scheduling of and actively participate in project performance reviews including providing relevant financial commentary on significant projects. • Provide support and assist with requests from the Project Managers, Department Managers, Office Executive and/or Director of Project Accounting. Role Description BGIS is currently seeking a Commissioning Agent to join the team as a member in Ireland or Netherlands. We are looking for individuals to commission mission critical center equipment systems, such as: - Power generation and distribution systems - Uninterruptible power supplies - Static transfer switches - PDU's - BAS & BMS systems - HVAC equipment The candidate must have a working knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical systems or equivalent industry experience with proven customer service skills.
