Job Requirements
- 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Azure cloud development.
- Strong proficiency in Azure API Management (APIM) — policy authoring, gateway configuration, developer portal, and security setup.
- Solid experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) — pipeline design, data flows, triggers, and integration runtimes.
- Proficiency in C# and .NET (version 6 or later) for backend/API development.
- Deep understanding of RESTful API design principles — HTTP semantics, versioning, pagination, and error handling.
- Hands-on experience with OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API key-based authentication patterns.
- Familiarity with Azure services: App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure Blob/Data Lake Storage, Azure Monitor, Application Insights.
- Experience with API documentation standards (OpenAPI 3.0 / Swagger).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.

You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable, secure cloud environments across our multiple AWS and Azure estates. Key Responsibilities - Infrastructure Management: Provision and maintain cloud resources (Compute, Storage, Networking) within AWS and Azure environments. - Automation (IaC): Drive operational efficiency by using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep) to automate deployments. - Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor security best practices, including IAM policies, network security groups, and encryption. - Cloud Support: Act as a technical point of contact for troubleshooting cloud-based application performance and connectivity issues. - Optimisation: Regularly review cloud spend and architecture to recommend cost-saving opportunities and performance enhancements. Required Experience & Skills - Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering/administration. - Platform Expertise: Deep proficiency in AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC) or Azure (VMs, Entra ID, VNets, App Services).
