Payroll Associate
Strada
• Performs all life-cycle payroll transactions and activities to ensure the processing of an accurate and timely payroll. • Independently process Polish payroll from end to end according to the defined standards and client requirements including all associated payroll tasks. • Monitor and manage ticket queues using the appropriate Bl tools to ensure tickets are handled per the defined timelines and do not exceed expected thresholds. • Ability to utilize the hrX suite of tools as it relates to payroll processing and all associated activities. • Be able to understand and interpret a payslip. • Be able to understand and follow the payroll calendar. • Identify deviations from the standard scope of service and act accordingly including the identification and support of change request opportunities. • Ability to recognize and deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information. • Produce and understand standard and client specific payroll reports including statutory year end reporting needs. • Review and validate data for accuracy and completeness and initiate corrections per the defined standards. • Answer payroll related questions and requests. • Support and execute SOCI Controls. • Maintain and apply defined work instructions (DWIs). • Perform Transactions with Third parties. • Provide clear knowledge transfers to peers. • Support the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process. • Support and manage system maintenance testing. • Support technical issue coordination and resolution. • Maintain current knowledge of legislation requirements; system updates, changes and overall payroll procedures. • Participate in projects and activities as needed and assigned.
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year experience in a Polish payroll role
- Business analysis experience
- Experience working for a global organization with a multi-cultural environment
- Fluent in Polish and English (written, oral)
- Advanced level of Excel
- HR Consulting, payroll and outsourcing industry experience
- A solutions-based thinker with a natural inquisitive mind

This role owns accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing while partnering closely with HR and Finance.
