Role Description We’re looking for an experienced Education Partnerships Lead to join Kagi. This is a train-the-trainer role at its core. Educators already see what AI is doing to student thinking, and they're looking for a real answer. Kagi is that answer, and your job is to connect the dots. You’ll be in front of teachers, librarians, IT leads, and administrators, listening to what they're up against, then showing them what a healthier information environment looks like for students and giving them the tools and confidence to carry it forward. You'll own the full lifecycle of every school relationship, from first outreach through rollout and ongoing support, working closely with the Head of Education. What You'll Do - Understand what educators, librarians, and administrators are actually struggling with before pitching anything. - Own the full lifecycle of each school relationship: outreach, pitching, procurement, training, rollout, and ongoing support. - Build trust with K-12 administrators, IT directors, librarians, and higher ed decision-makers. - Lead live sessions that leave educators equipped to teach Kagi to their own colleagues and students. - Navigate district and university procurement processes. - Represent Kagi at education conferences as a credible voice in the conversation about students, critical thinking, and technology. - Work toward quarterly and annual goals for reach and adoption. Qualifications - 5+ years selling into United States K-12 districts or higher ed, with closed deals you can point to. - A listener first. The best people in this role hear concerns and pain points before they say a word about product. - Comfortable as a thought leader in rooms full of seasoned teachers. - Real conviction that students deserve tools built to develop their thinking, not replace it. - Comfort operating with autonomy inside a small team, and genuine willingness to wear different hats. - Classroom, library, or administrative background is a plus. - Existing relationships with school districts or universities is a plus. - Remote -- United States timezone strongly preferred. Benefits - If you believe the most important thing technology can do for students is teach them how to think for themselves, we'd like to talk.
