Responsibilities - Guarantee the smooth functioning and upkeep of HVAC, cleanroom, and fire-fighting systems. - Optimize energy usage and streamline cleanrooms effectively. - Understand and implement testing and commissioning of HVAC equipment and validated cleanroom supplies. - Prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs) in line with industry standards. - Follow all site safety and lockout-tagout (LOTO) procedures strictly. - Work in shifts and rotate from days to nights as required. - Survey sites ahead of fitting heating, ventilation, or air conditioning systems. - Perform quality checks to ensure systems are working efficiently and safely. - Carry out preventive, breakdown, and predictive maintenance on HVAC systems. - Prepare deliverable lists, schedules, labor-hour estimates, resource requirements, and progress reports. - Apply expertise in HVAC regulations and guidelines such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, ISO, NFPA, DNV, AMCA, and more. - Compute heating, ventilation, and cooling requirements and choose HVAC units accordingly. - Uphold air pressurization protocols in cleanrooms. - Draft statements of work (SOW) for HVAC contractors and collaborate with HVAC vendors. - Draft technical procedures, guides, and work instructions. - Optimize HVAC systems without interrupting tools. Requirements - Demonstrated expertise in HVAC, cleanroom, and fire-fighting system operations and maintenance. - Basic understanding of energy optimization and cleanroom streamlining. - Expertise in HVAC equipment testing, commissioning, and validation. - Familiarity with preparing SOPs per industry standards. - Basic knowledge of material specifications. - Capability to operate during varying shifts, including evenings. - Experience in semiconductor industry HVAC requirements. - Proficient knowledge of HVAC regulations and norms. - Proficiency in heating, ventilation, and cooling load assessments and HVAC system dimensioning. - Familiarity with cleanroom air pressurization protocols. - Capability to collaborate with HVAC suppliers and contractors. - Proficiency in crafting technical documents for procedures and work instructions. - Minimum knowledge of HVAC system optimization without tools interruption. - Clean room and dust collection system experience is an added advantage.
