Department OverviewR&D team that specializes in the development of world-class digital two-way subscriber radios for consumer or business market. Job Description - Conduct feasibility studies and prototyping to validate initial ideas and execute Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA). - Generate accurate 3D models and 2D drawings per mechanical drafting standards and release mechanical prints. - Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) by conducting experiments using statistical tools and techniques to confirm root cause of failure. Present data using statistical methodologies. - Support mold trials, prototype builds, and testing. Basic Requirements - Taking courses in Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline - Self-motivated, assertive, results driven, and consistently delivering strong outcomes within deadlines. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and present data using statistical methodologies. - Proficiency in 3D CAD and 2D drawing generation, specifically with Pro/E Creo is a plus - Experience in performing Tolerance Analysis and Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) is a plus. - Ability to communicate and present conceptual ideas effectively to technical audiences. - Ability to work effectively both as an individual and as a strong team player. #LI-MK2 Travel RequirementsNone Relocation ProvidedNone Position TypeIntern Referral Payment PlanNoEEO Statement Motorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
