• Serve as a compliance evaluator, to review hardware engineering artifacts to find compliance to the applicable systems guidance, standards, and regulations including but not limited to TSOs, DO-254, DO-297, Advisory Circulars, Foreign Certification Memos, etc. • Serve as compliance approver to formally approve engineering artifacts for compliance to the applicable guidance, standards, and regulations. • Work with engineering to resolve findings of non-compliance to the applicable guidance, standards, and regulations. • Provide certification interface with customers, design specialists, suppliers and subcontracts, allocating compliance demonstration expectations. • Mentor engineering during the development of detailed planning in the context of a program team, including customization of development processes. • Provide independent assessment of airworthiness process adherence. • Assure that project planning is accomplished to the appropriate level of fidelity and that development teams are following appropriate processes. • Understand and utilize internal processes, methods and tools for review and approval of engineering artifacts for compliance. • Understand current development and documentation processes and techniques. • Review metrics and defect trends, identify systemic root causes and process improvements. • Recommend new approaches, tools and techniques that drive continuous improvement in development, review and approval processes. • Maintain awareness of technology within the domains of their area of expertise and develop technology strategies for the domains in the area of expertise. • Complete recurrent training expectations applicable for finding compliance to guidance, standards, and regulations.
Job Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- 8 years of progressively responsible engineering experience, including up to 4 years of educational experience.
- Must have passed or be able to pass the TSO Compliance Representative (TCR) application/selection process to be nominated by Avionics Certification and authorized as a compliance approver.
- Have significant domain knowledge and knowledge of products, systems and applicable regulatory requirements for hardware.
- May be considered a domain specialist or a generalist in multiple domains and/or systems areas of expertise.

The BioProcess Hardware Modality Leader is responsible for defines and executes the strategy for the bioprocess hardware business in Korea, driving sustainable growth and market leadership through strong cross‑functional alignment across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Service. About the role: Modular is building a next-generation AI infrastructure platform that unifies fragmented application frameworks and hardware backends into a single programmable system – enabling true compute portability and performance differentiation across the AI stack. We are hiring a Hardware Partnerships BD Lead to define and scale Modular’s hardware ecosystem strategy. This role sits at the intersection of business development, strategy, and technical coordination. You will work directly with Modular’s founders and technical leadership to cultivate deep relationships with leading hardware vendors (GPUs, TPUs, ASICs, emerging accelerators), shape long-term partnership economics, and help architect an open hardware ecosystem around MAX and Mojo. This is not a traditional BD role focused purely on closing transactions. It is a strategic, operational, and relationship-intensive role designed to ensure Modular becomes the programmable software layer for next-generation AI hardware. LOCATION: Candidates based in the United States are welcome to apply. You can work in our office in Los Altos, CA or remotely from home. Reports to: DFH Detailing Manager FLSA Status: Exempt Position Summary The Division 8 Detailer is responsible for producing accurate, extremely detailed, and time-sensitive submittals, change order proposals, as well as material orders for large-capital commercial construction projects. Duties & Responsibilities: - Read and interpret contract documents, including but not limited to scope of work, requests for proposal, project schedules, drawings/details, specifications, and opening schedules - Responsible for capturing all pertinent scope changes and maintenance of project’s financials to ensure project’s success, measured in timeliness of materials and ability to maximize profitability - Familiarity and competency with application of financial attributes: List pricing, buying programs, discounts and change order proposals - Maximize buyout opportunities via suggestion of alternate products, value engineering options and other creative or proactive solutions - Must be able to apply DFH knowledge of codes and standards, hardware templates, hardware locations, pre-fit sizing, machining sheets.
