Job Description
Social Media Manager
SATELC
• Build Instagram & TikTok: content strategy and posting plan. • Grow our channel and make it take off. • Produce reels & short videos: film, edit and post reels that truly resonate with real parents. • Cover content pillars: everyday family adventures with ouchie, first-aid tips (“Did you know?”), unboxings, behind-the-scenes, seasonal themes. • Build community: reply to comments, manage DMs, have real conversations. Engagement > follower count. • Influencer outreach: contact mom bloggers, midwives, and outdoor families to set up collaborations. • Coordinate UGC: motivate customers to share their ouchie moments. Curate and repost UGC content.
Job Requirements
- Must-haves: You are a mom or dad, or you work with/are around children daily.
- You know playground panic, the search for band-aids, and adventure chaos.
- You can shoot reels in your sleep.
- You know what works on Instagram and TikTok — not just in theory, but because you do it yourself.
- You have a good eye for aesthetics without it looking artificial.
- You can produce smartphone content that looks professional (editing with CapCut, InShot, etc.).
- You speak German at native level and write copy that feels like real conversation, not advertising.
- You are reliable, self-directed and don’t need micromanagement.
- Nice-to-haves (optional): You have a small Instagram/TikTok account yourself (even <5K followers is fine).
- Optional: Experience with influencer collaborations or branded content.
- Optional: Familiarity with Canva, Later/Planoly or similar tools.
- Optional: Based in Munich or nearby (for occasional joint content shoots, not required).
- Optional: Medical background, e.g., as a paramedic, doctor, or similar.
Benefits
- Flexibility: Freelance or part-time, 15–32 hours/week, flexible scheduling.
- Real impact: Not just “post something pretty.” You’ll help build a community. Your ideas matter.
- Fair compensation: Depending on experience + performance-based bonuses for achieved milestones.
- Product love: You’ll receive all ouchie products for free—for you, your kids, or as gifts.
- Growth potential: As ouchie grows, your role can grow with it. Long-term, and if you want, this could become a permanent position—from Head of Marketing up to Managing Director-level responsibilities.
- Startup spirit: Short decision paths, fast decisions, no corporate nonsense.

Releaf Dispensary Ltd is a leading medical cannabis clinic committed to providing high-quality, safe, and effective cannabis-based treatments. Headquartered in the UK, we aim to enhance the quality of life for our patients through innovative solutions and outstanding patient service. We’re a fast-growing team of passionate professionals on a mission to put patients back in control of their health journey. We’ve seen first-hand how alternative treatments can change lives, and we’re proud to be at the forefront of that change. Who we’re looking for: We’re looking for a proactive, creative Social Media Executive to join our busy, growing Marketing Department, someone who can own our channels end-to-end and bring genuine energy and initiative to the role. The ideal candidate is a confident, self-directed social media professional who thrives on ownership, moves fast, and understands how to build an engaged audience in a regulated industry. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of Releaf’s social channels across the UK - planning, creating, scheduling and reporting on content that grows our brand and connects with our patients. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be expected to bring ideas to the table, execute independently, and proactively flag opportunities rather than wait to be directed. You’ll work closely with the Head of Content & Ecommerce and collaborate across the wider marketing department to keep everything aligned, on-brand and on time. Ideally you’ll have 2+ years’ experience managing social media channels professionally, with a track record of growing engaged audiences across multiple platforms. Experience in healthcare, wellness or a regulated sector is highly desirable! Key Responsibilities: - Channel Management & Scheduling: Own the day-to-day management of Releaf’s social channels across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, Substack and YouTube (UK and Germany), ensuring content is planned, approved and published on time, every time. - Content Creation & Ideation: Proactively bring fresh content concepts to the team - staying on top of platform trends, formats and best practices and translating them into ideas that work for Releaf’s brand and audience. - Content Shoots: Plan, produce and execute content shoots in line with the campaign calendar - briefing talent and crew, coordinating logistics, and ensuring all assets captured are on-brand and ready for use across channels. - Copywriting: Write compelling, on-brand captions, scripts and social copy across all channels, adapting tone for platform and audience. - Community Engagement: Working alongside our Community Manager, monitor comments, DMs and mentions across platforms, responding promptly and in line with brand guidelines to build trust and foster community. - Reporting: Track and report on channel KPIs on a weekly and monthly basis, providing clear commentary on performance, trends and recommendations, not just numbers. Deliver a weekly report covering follower count, engagement rate, reach and upcoming content per channel. Contribute to the monthly performance deck with a minimum of 2–3 actionable insights per cycle, moving beyond 'what happened' to 'why it happened' and 'what we do next.' Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Content & Ecommerce team, designers, and other departments to ensure social content is aligned with campaigns, launches and business priorities. At Releaf, our people are the reason we've grown so quickly, and we don't take that lightly. We've built a benefits package that reflects how much we value the team behind our mission: life insurance, private health cover, an Employee Assistance Programme, structured career progression, and enhanced holiday. We're a remote-first business, which means you get genuine flexibility and autonomy balanced with regular in-person time to connect with your colleagues. You'll need to be based in the UK, but wherever you work from, you'll be joining a team that's purposeful, fast-moving, and genuinely cares about the people in it.
