What you'll be doing As our Environments, Change and Release Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our technology delivery is stable, controlled and low risk across the Commercial Technology domain. Reporting to the Manager, Technical Solutions, you'll provide governance and operational control across environments, change and release management, ensuring deployments are predictable, coordinated and delivered safely with full audit traceability. In this role, you will: - Govern the lifecycle, availability and readiness of development, test, UAT, pre-production and production environments - Maintain environment configuration baselines and proactively monitor health, capacity, and utilisation - Own and manage the integrated change and release calendar, ensuring visibility of all planned activity - Lead release planning, readiness and Go/No-Go forums, assessing scope, dependencies, and risk across concurrent initiatives - Coordinate production deployments to ensure controlled, auditable, and low-risk releases - Act as the escalation point for environment, change and release risks, issues, and conflicts - Manage cross-team and vendor dependencies, including external delivery partners - Identify and address configuration drift, environment misalignment and readiness gaps - Establish reporting, dashboards and controls to provide visibility of release performance, risks and environment status - Ensure operational readiness, including support models, runbooks, monitoring and escalation pathways prior to go-live - Coordinate service transition, cutover, hypercare and handover to BAU teams - Drive continuous improvement across release governance, environment stability and delivery predictability This is a highly visible role that works across delivery, infrastructure, security and business teams to reduce delivery risk and strengthen how we bring change into production. You'll be great in this role if you have… - Demonstrated experience in environment management, change management, release management or service transition within a complex technology environment - Proven experience coordinating concurrent releases and managing dependencies across multiple teams - Strong understanding of release governance, change control and production deployment practices - Experience managing delivery risk, operational readiness and service transition activities - Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across technical and business teams - Excellent planning, coordination and organisational skills, with a strong attention to detail - Ability to analyse complex dependencies, resolve conflicts and make well-reasoned decisions - Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present status, risks and recommendations - Experience working with tools such as Jira, Confluence or similar delivery platforms Desirable: - Experience in large, complex or regulated environments - Exposure to feature management, progressive release or controlled activation practices - Experience working with third-party vendors and external partners - Knowledge of IT service management, DevOps or service transition frameworks We're committed to looking after you, with some of the best benefits and conditions in the industry - including (but not limited to): - Discounted flights for you and your loved ones (including $1000 worth of travel credits per year) - A flexible, hybrid work style.
