Automation Anywhere
About Us: Automation Anywhere is the leader in Agentic Process Automation (APA), transforming how work gets done with AI-powered automation. Its APA system, built on the industry’s first Process Reasoning Engine (PRE) and specialized AI agents, combines process discovery, RPA, end-to-end orchestration, document processing, and analytics—all delivered with enterprise-grade security and governance. Guided by its vision to fuel the future of work, Automation Anywhere helps organizations worldwide boost productivity, accelerate growth, and unleash human potential. Our Opportunity At Automation Anywhere, Business Development is at the forefront of driving revenue growth, expanding our partner ecosystem, and securing the strategic alliances that accelerate our go-to-market momentum. As our Agentic Process Automation platform scales, we're looking for a seasoned BD leader who can identify, structure, and close high-impact partnerships and commercial agreements that directly contribute to growth. You will serve as a key connector between our product, sales, and executive teams—translating market dynamics into actionable partnership strategies. The ideal candidate brings a builder's mentality to ecosystem development, combines sharp commercial instincts with strong financial acumen, and has the credibility to engage C-level counterparts at potential partners, customers, and strategic investors. Where relevant, you will also support select corporate development activities—including minority investments and strategic transactions—that complement our broader BD agenda. You will make an impact by being responsible for: - Own and drive the end-to-end lifecycle of strategic partnerships—from initial outreach and opportunity qualification through deal structuring, negotiation, and go-live activation. - Develop and execute a partner ecosystem strategy spanning technology alliances, channel and reseller programs, and systems integrator relationships that extend Automation Anywhere's market reach. - Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to align partnership structures with commercial priorities and ensure measurable revenue impact. - Build and maintain a robust pipeline of BD opportunities; track and report partnership performance metrics against ARR contribution, pipeline influence, and co-sell targets. - Conduct rigorous financial modeling and business case development to evaluate partnership economics, including revenue share, co-investment, and build/buy/partner tradeoffs. - Support select corporate development activities—including minority investments, strategic alliances with financial components, and inorganic growth initiatives—in partnership with Finance and Legal. - Represent Automation Anywhere externally with partners, investors, and industry stakeholders; actively cultivate relationships across the enterprise tech and AI/automation ecosystem. - Stay ahead of competitive and market dynamics in the agentic AI and automation space; translate intelligence into prioritized BD opportunities for executive consideration. - Champion internal best practices around partnership governance, deal review frameworks, and post-close success planning. You will be a great fit if you have: - 12–15+ years of experience in business development, strategic alliances, corporate development, or a related field—ideally within enterprise software or the broader tech sector. - Demonstrated track record of structuring and closing complex, multi-party commercial agreements and technology partnerships. - Familiarity with corporate development concepts and deal mechanics (M&A, minority investments, JVs) is a meaningful plus; prior experience in investment banking, VC, or corp dev is welcomed. - Strong command of financial modeling, partnership economics, and the ability to translate quantitative analysis into executive-level recommendations. - Deep understanding of the enterprise software landscape—particularly SaaS, AI/automation, or platform businesses—with the ability to engage credibly with both technical and business audiences. - Exceptional communicator and presenter; comfortable operating at the C-suite and board level, both internally and with external partners. - Collaborative, low-ego mindset with the ability to influence without authority across a matrixed organization. - Strong network across enterprise tech, cloud, and the broader AI/automation ecosystem. The base salary range for this position is $280,000 - 290,000 a year. The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors. Role Description Cornucopia Bio is an AI-native automation company operating at the intersection of assay execution and lab automation. We're looking for a high-performing sales operator — someone who can build pipeline from scratch, navigate complex pharma and biotech organizations, and close deals independently in an early-stage environment. This is a 90-day retainer engagement with strong commission upside. Built for an operator who thrives on autonomy and wants real skin in the game. Compensation - Monthly retainer: $3,333/month ($10,000 total over 90 days) - Commission: 15% of revenue generated, paid on cash received - Tiered option: - 15% on first $50K closed - 20% on revenue beyond $50K - Alternative structure available: $5K retainer + 20–25% commission for the right candidate What you'll own - Run outbound pipeline across enterprise and mid-size pharma and biotech accounts — email, LinkedIn, and warm network introductions - Target 8–15 qualified meetings per week from day one - Own deals end-to-end: discovery, follow-up, negotiation, and close - Collaborate with founders on pricing, positioning, and proposal strategy - Develop and manage relationships across assay execution (qPCR, ELISA) and lab automation buyers - Surface market intelligence — customer pain points, competitive signals, and messaging feedback - Drive strategic introductions and partnership conversations Performance milestones - Day 30: At least 20 qualified meetings completed and early pipeline forming.
