Director, Large District Enterprise Sales – K12

ClassLink

• Lead Strategic Relationships: Build and maintain trusted partnerships with top-tier district leaders, including Superintendents, CTOs, and CIOs. • Drive Growth and Retention: Expand adoption, cross-sell, and upsell ClassLink solutions aligned with district priorities. • Collaborate Across Teams: Work with product, marketing, customer success, and technology teams to deliver tailored solutions for large districts. • Provide Market Insights: Stay current on education policy, funding priorities, and technology trends impacting K–12 systems. • Represent ClassLink: Advocate for ClassLink’s mission at conferences, consortia, and industry events while presenting a professional, trusted presence.

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience selling enterprise SaaS solutions nationwide to large, complex K–12 school districts, with a focus on districts serving 50,000+ students and multi-year, seven-figure contract potential.
  • Demonstrated success owning and expanding relationships with the largest school districts in the U.S. (Top 100 by enrollment), including navigating district-level procurement, RFPs, school board approvals, and executive stakeholders (Superintendents, CIOs, CTOs, and Cabinet-level leaders).
  • Deep, hands-on understanding of K–12 enterprise ecosystems, including digital learning platforms, identity and access management, data interoperability standards (e.g., OneRoster, Ed-Fi, SIF), and the operational realities of large district environments.
  • Exceptional executive-level communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or advanced degree preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, including evenings or weekends for conferences, district meetings, and events.
