Location Address: 1000 Weis Remote RoadJob Description: The primary purpose of this position is to analyze stores computer generated ordering performance and identify improvement opportunities. Manage the development and implementation of corrective inventory level and inventory process plans for store locations. Develops and oversee training of the store level management associates pertaining to the computer-generated ordering system. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned: - Provides training and development of store personnel, District Management and all other operations staff for the CGO application functionality and reporting. - Complete administrative functions within the CGO system, including but not limited to creating ordering and receiving schedules, user accounts and item detail. - Work closely with IT, Supply Chain, Operations, Merchandising and asset protection to provide reporting and support. - Maintain constant written and verbal communication with Operations, Merchandising, and Supply Chain Management personnel. - Manages time and sets priorities with program implementation and follow up. Assists in the inventory management process, intervening on stores’ behalf as needed. - Manage the development and implementations of corrective inventory plans and processes for store locations (warehouse delivered product as well as DSD product). - Ensure operating standards are met with the CGO system. Develops and manage training outlines/meetings. Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures. - Identify areas to improve operational efficiencies and improve product flow within the supply chain, communicating any known challenges and work arounds when necessary. - Develop reports based on metrics to track progress of stores use of CGO. - Lead special projects related to improving inventory turns and the use of CGO. - Communicates regularly with CGO Manager to assure understanding and compliance of computer- generated ordering matters. - Communicates with all key stakeholders to identify and provide solutions to product availability issues. - Assists in store remodels and new store openings to assure product authorizations. - Communicates with category managers and merchandising regarding any specific item issues. - Attends District and other Operational meetings and conferences as needed. - Serves as a liaison between the CGO Application Support staff in the area of item or system issues. - Emergency response to store needs due to events such as weather and any other store or Supply Chain needs. Supervisory Responsibilities This position collaborates closely with District Managers, Regional Operations Specialists, District Leads, Store Management, CGO Coordinators, and Merchants. It does not have direct supervisory responsibility over associates. Qualification Requirements To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required: Education and/or Experience High school education or general education degree (GED) required. Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Business preferred, plus a minimum of three (3) years' experience in supporting retail grocery operations; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with many levels of management; Must have strong analytical and organizational skills to execute projects within the given timeframes.
