Over the past decade, over 90 million students, educators and administrators have “Gone Google” with G Suite for EDU and Chromebooks. Technology itself, however, is just a tool in the hands of an empowered teacher. In order to support the empowerment of our educator users, the Google for Education team has created a number of professional development programs and products to support teachers as they integrate technology into their instruction. Our technology is constantly evolving. We are seeking a Content Manager to ensure that we are always providing the most up to date, accurate and high-quality content and support to the millions of teachers that rely on us. You will maintain the content in our online platforms, responding to user feedback and ensuring a high quality product. You will become an expert in changes to Google for Education’s products and how these changes can better support our technology’s use in the classroom. And you will share this expertise through all our programs, so that we are making sure our teachers are aware of everything that is possible. Minimum qualification(s): ● BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience. ● Excellent written ability. ● Some industry experience in education (teaching, administration, business or academic). ● Ability to work independently and juggle multiple projects. ● Deep knowledge of G Suite for Education. Preferred qualification(s): ● 2+ years classroom experience. ● Experience developing training or other learning content for the educator audience, specifically on the impactful use of technology in the classroom. ● An eye for design, including the use of presentation software and basic graphic design. ● Experience developing, executing and documenting processes involving a number of stakeholders. ● Experience with go-to-market initiatives related to education or edtech Responsibilities: ● Maintain and update our online professional development center, associated Google Certified Educator exams, and various other EDU program content sources to ensure the curriculum remains coherent and classroom focused. ● Work with 3rd party partners and industry experts to develop new learning content that is relevant to educators using Google’s tools in the K-2 classroom. ● Establish processes to keep up to date with the latest product changes across Google for Education. ● Maintain a consolidated content roadmap for all EDU Programs putting out learning content. ● Maintain professional development program support materials, including social media campaigns, as programs and our products evolve.
