Responsibilities The Financial Access Representative acts as a role model in stewardship and support of the Scheduling Center. Is responsible for accurate MR selection, preregistration and securing pre-authorizations prior to a patient arrival or after arrival at the facility depending on your role in the department. Maintains a thorough knowledge of insurance requirements to ensure procedures/ visits are authorized from payers. Acts as a department support in training, assisting peers or other assigned responsibilities to supervisor/manager. After successful completion of in person training, this position offers remote wokr. Requirements Education and Work Experience: ● Must possess a high school diploma or GED ● 3-5 years experience in health care registration setting required ● Customer service experience preferred; work with insurance payers is required.
