Job Purpose The Project Manager will work closely with an experienced team of Med-Metrix Subject Matter Experts with operational expertise in both Healthcare Finance and Revenue Cycle Services and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and implementation, for the proprietary solutions within our Med-Metrix Revenue Cycle Tech Stack. The Project Manager will identify and mitigate risks, ensure timely project delivery, and communicate progress and challenges to leadership. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our clients experience a seamless transition and successful implementation of our services. The ideal Project Manager will be a process-oriented, people-person – someone who is passionate about quality and consistency, and has the ability to work with all types of different personalities and bring them together to align on key decisions, including but not limited to definition of project scope, deployment timelines, resource management, testing/training plans, and change management. Duties & Responsibilities - Oversee the progress of projects, ensuring all tasks and action items are completed on time by following up on action items and documenting all project-related information meticulously for future reference and compliance - Ability to understand customer requests and work with our Implementation, Product, Development, and Sales teams to best translate those into actionable next steps - Foster a collaborative environment to drive project success and resolve any issues promptly and provide weekly status reporting to customers, internal project team members and all stakeholders - Lead customer-facing meetings of varying sizes and profiles, ranging from operational management to C-suite - Take initiative in outlining project dependencies and sequencing tasks to ensure smooth delivery - Work with and build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels, driving collaboration and long-term partnership - Achieve revenue targets by accurately forecasting project go-live dates, meeting forecasted completion dates, and escalating as needed to ensure projects remain on track - Other duties as assigned - Use, protect and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards - Understand and comply with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures at all times - Limit viewing of PHI to the absolute minimum as necessary to perform assigned duties Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in a related field strongly preferred - 2-5 years of direct project management experience in healthcare - Strong organization, analytical, and critical thinking skills - Advanced project management skills; strong mediation and negotiation skills - Basic understanding of technology to effectively communicate and manage project requirements - Ability to recap actions, take initiative, and schedule necessary activities with minimal guidance - A strong sense of ownership and accountability in managing projects.
