• Support the incorporation of the local entity in Cameroon • Open and manage local bank accounts and register with relevant regulatory bodies • Grow the FX and blockchain payments business • Act as the local face of the company and manage strategic partnerships • Monitor local and regional developments in FX regulation and blockchain adoption • Work closely with global operations, compliance, legal, and finance teams • Serve as nominee director for the local entity and oversee ongoing administrative tasks

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in banking, FX, blockchain, or fintech
  • Solid understanding of the regulatory environment in Cameroon (COBAC/BEAC)
  • Demonstrated success in launching new products or markets
  • Strong commercial negotiation skills
  • Fluent in English and French (required)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Self-starter comfortable operating in a startup environment
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail

This position does not include responsibilities related to budget development, contract negotiation, or financial structuring. Instead, it serves as a front-end engine for study acquisition, ensuring a high-quality, strategically aligned pipeline for downstream feasibility and contracting team members.
