• Designing and implementing the streaming data platform engine and SDK • Implementing new features for our range of web and streaming applications and data reporting capabilities • Be an active voice in the platform's build-out in regards to the technical choices and implementations • Working closely with the broader team to embrace new challenges and adapt requirements as we continue to grow and adjust priorities • Using Claude Code and other AI tools responsibly to boost productivity • Paired programming with a growing team of Back-end, Data, and Front-end Engineers

• Help shape our technical roadmap, aligning system architecture and development priorities with long-term business goals. • Code software! We want 25% of your time to be spent working on R&D projects / product development. • Champion clean, efficient code by giving thoughtful PR feedback and holding the team to high standards. • Be a real multiplier on your team’s efficiency. • Proactively address inefficiencies/blockers, critically assess your team's performance, and provide targeted coaching so others can level up their skills. • Collaborate with product and design teams to translate customer needs into impactful, user-friendly features. • Take ownership across our systems. Spot inefficiencies, resolve bottlenecks and keep everything running like clockwork. • Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and trends to keep us at the forefront of innovation and productivity.

• Build and maintain backend features - APIs, background jobs, integrations. Our stack is Ruby on Rails but if you're strong in Python or TypeScript and willing to learn, that works too. • Improve and maintain our data pipeline - write reports and queries in PostgreSQL and BigQuery to keep affiliate data (clicks, conversions, commissions, payouts) correct and up to date. • Build internal dashboards and reports - payout summaries, revenue attribution, cohort breakdowns, etc. • Fix performance issues - bad queries, slow background jobs, bottlenecks. Keep things running well under load. • Use AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor) daily to move faster. We care about what you ship, not how many hours you sit. • Work async with a small team - few meetings, lots of ownership. You ship it, you monitor it. • Jump in on technical support. We rotate who handles deeper technical help for our CX team - running custom scripts, debugging client-specific issues, or digging into the data when something looks off.

• Development and ongoing enhancement of WordPress websites, themes, and custom plugins • Technical planning and implementation of customer-specific requirements • Analysis, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of existing websites • Setup, configuration, and management of hosting environments (e.g., servers, domains, SSL) • Integration and connection of third-party systems and APIs • Implementation of responsive and user-friendly frontends • Coordination and communication with clients to gather requirements and develop solutions
