Job Description Primary Responsibilities This role independently plans, coordinates, and delivers Business Continuity–related projects for SGS entities in Germany, operating remotely from RBS Manila. The Project Manager acts as the central control function for multi‑site, and cross‑functional projects (e.g. Business Continuity (BC)), ensuring scope, timelines, quality, risks, and stakeholder alignment are met without day‑to‑day supervision. Specific Responsibilities - At all times, comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct - Take end‑to‑end ownership for Business Continuity projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, and formal closure. - Plan, coordinate, and control multi‑site and cross‑country projects supporting Business Continuity activities in Germany. - Act as single point of contact for internal and external project stakeholders, including BC Managers, site leadership, functions, and clients. - Independently coordinate and manage Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), Risk Assessments, and Business Continuity (BC) plan development, updates, and exercises. - Define project scope, milestones, deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities and ensure adherence throughout the project lifecycle. - Proactively monitor project risks, dependencies, and resource constraints and initiate appropriate mitigation actions. - Manage customer‑related Business Continuity requests, including contract‑specific Business Continuity Plans, BC assurances, and BC questionnaires. - Ensure accurate, complete, and timely documentation and reporting within Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) tools and associated project repositories. - Prepare structured, management‑ready project status reports, decision templates, and escalation briefings. - Lead and facilitate virtual project meetings, workshops, and coordination calls across sites, functions, and time zones. - Escalate issues, delays, or deviations early and propose corrective or preventive actions. - Contribute to the standardization, optimization, and continuous improvement of Business Continuity project methodologies and ways of working. - Support strategic Business Continuity initiatives and ad‑hoc projects as assigned. Qualifications Profile - Bachelor’s degree in business, science, engineering, risk management, quality management, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is an advantage. - Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Project Manager, preferably in international, cross‑country, or multi‑site environments. - Proven experience managing projects remotely for International stakeholders, ideally within regulated, technical, consulting, or corporate environments. - Experience in Business Continuity, Risk Management, Quality, Compliance, or Management Systems is a strong advantage. Additional Information Required Skills • Strong command of the English language (B2 as minimum), with good verbal- and written communication skills (grammar and composition). • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently. • Proven time management skills and meticulous attention to detail.
