Community Development Coordinator

CVS Health

• Conduct monthly outreach in all services to include community events, member activities, member education, site visits, meetings, and member outreach calls • Market value ads, member renewal of benefits, health education, and community resources in field during outreach events, presentations, site visits, member education, and meetings • Conduct proper documentation of outreach activities in Salesforce • Build outreach calendar 90-days out to meet monthly production metrics • Ensure continuous development of strong collaborative relationships with local government, independent school districts, colleges/universities, state agencies and communities, faith based, non-profit, and social service agencies • Meet all departmental standards for quality and compliance of outreach activities • Maintain compliance with all training initiatives to include market training, onboarding, compliance, Texas Health Steps, CHW (Community Health Worker) Health Education topics and annual CVS training modules • Provide support to all social media outreach events and activities • Provide support to all ABHTX (Aetna Better Health of Texas)/CVS Health Outreach Vehicle events/activities • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in community outreach within the HMO (Health Maintenance Organization), healthcare, and/or insurance industries
  • Must reside in Fort Worth, Texas
  • Willingness to work Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm Central Standard Time, with a willingness to work on evenings & weekends as needed
  • Ability to travel within Fort Worth, Texas up to 60-75% of the time
  • 5+ years of experience in community outreach within the HMO (Health Maintenance Organization), healthcare, and/or insurance industries preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a closely related field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and recent, related experience preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel)
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Salesforce
